Student Development Professional Development Committee

About SDPDC
The Student Development Professional Development Committee is charged by the Vice Chancellor for Student Development to develop programs for the faculty and staff in Student Development. The committee meets monthly and invites any interested person in Student Development to attend. The Committee also would like input on programs of interest to offer to personnel in Student Development.
Mission statement: To enhance the personal and professional development of staff members within the Division of Student Development
Goals:
(1) To offer programs and activities throughout the year
(2) To recognize staff for their outstanding contributions to the Division
(3) To provide networking opportunities
(4) To be inclusive of EPA, SPA, and graduate student staff
Ongoing work of the committee:
Kick-off event for each fall semester
Recognition/kick-off event for each spring semester
At least three programs each semester
Outside speaker once a year
Lunch and learn programs each summer
Social activities throughout the year
